Great photo taken by Danburg Murmur on Southwest Airlines flight 649 en route from Las Vegas, Nevada to Houston, Texas. You can see the Houston Zoo, Texas Medical Center and Rice University.
Found this photo on Flickr of a Ferrari Enzo cruising downtown. Personally I haven’t seen one yet, but hopefully I’ll get to ride in one someday. As they say though, everything’s bigger in Texas.
Boot artwork for the 2007 Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo with the Houston skyline in the background.
Red Fountain, Downtown Houston, TX (Showtime’s Dexter Promo)- High Shutter Speed

The red fountain was part of a promo for the 2nd season of Dexter in September 2007. There were young women in lab coats with “Dexter” written on the back of them, handing out DVDs promoting the second season.
Even though it’s an old photo, it’s still wonderful today & a great memory of downtown Houston, TX!
Montana Becky took this photo because she saw the fountain about a block from where she works. SnagAJob is a great place to look for Houston jobs online.
Another great photo of Houston from J-a-x. Beautiful skyline view of the city.
J-a-x said, “Taken from the Police Memorial near downtown Houston.”
Taken by angelaelizabeth on April 7, 2008 at the Astros VS. Cardinals game in Minute Maid Park.
It’s a really great shot of the stadium with a dark skyline in the background. Definitely shows the beauty of the city and the colorfulness of baseball.
This photo was taken by fromky on flickr a year ago at the opening Day in the Houston Minute Maid Park for the Astros/Cardinals game in 2008.
2009 is going to be a great year for the Houston Astros!
fromky said this about the photo, “We complained terribly about the heat—but finally evening came. Still sorta miss the Astrodome where it was ALWAYS comfortably cool.”
Photo by slight clutter on Flickr at Hermann Park.
It looks like a painting, beuatiful vibrant colors.
Another amazing photo by OneEighteen on Flickr.
A beautiful and almost haunting photo.
As was said:
“The museum ship, USS Texas, built in 1915 is in the foreground. She is the last of the dreadnought class of ships built during that period.

Across the field is the San Jacinto Monument marking the site of the battle where the residents of Texas won their independence from the government of Mexico in 1836.

In the far background, to the right of the monument, one can see the towers of the Fred Hartmann Bridge over 5 miles away.”
